The bar graph illustrates the amount of electricity generated and used in the top ten countries in 2014, measured in billion kWh.
Overall, most nations produced more electricity than they consumed except Germany, with a significant amount in China and the US, while Korea Republic had the least in both categories.
For production volume, the value was remarkedly high in China (5398 billion kWh) and the United States (4099 billion kWh) while the least amount of 485.1 billion kWh and 526.6 billion kWh were generated from by the Koreans and Brazilians respectively. In addition, the quantity generated from other nations fluctuated between 526.6 and 1057 billion kWh, a range about five times less than the volume generated in the highest producing nations.
Consumption, similarly, had the same pattern with the Chinese and Americans using more electricity than any other nation while Korea Republic was the least consumer at 449.5 billion kWh, a value ten times less than that of China. Interestingly, of all the ten countries, Germany was the only exemption using more electricity than produced by the country in 2014.
