The bar charts below show the Marriage and Divorce statistics for eight countries in 1981 and 1994
The bar charts compared marriage and divorce rate by eight countries from 1891 to 1994.
In general, the marriage figure was downward by the period, excepted Denmark. Whilst the divorce was upward,excepted USA and Denmark.
As is presented in the bar graph, in 1981, USA was shown the highest number( over than 10 per thousand people) and it sightly decreased to approximately 9,5/thousand next 13 years. On the other hand, the other European countries, namely like UK, Finland,France, Italy, Denmark, the number was nearly 6/thousand and it had a fall number in 1994, excepted Denmark, which jumped from 6 to just over 7 per thousand.
With regard to divorce, USA had the highest number(5/thousand ). The country had the lowest rate in divorce was Italy, just under one per thousand, It can be seen that in 1981 and 1994, the divorce trend was improvement. With the exception of USA and Denmark were declined slowly.
