With regard to marriages, USA was the country with the greater figure both in 1981 (about 10.5 per thousand people ) and 1994, (9 per thousands). The other countries , shown similar figures at around 5.6 marriages per thousands.
They all experienced of all from 1981 to 1994 except for denmark , which went up from 5 to just under 7.
Also divorce statistics was dominated by USA , where separations decreased slightly from about 5.3 to just over 4.5. Apart from germany and denmark , which figures remained unchanged and a little lower respectively, the other countries faced on upward trend over the period in question. Intrestingly, italy both in 1981 and 1994 was the only country with a number of divorces near to zero.
