The bar graph illustrates, the information of teaching hours of each teacher in three different category of school such as primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary in Japan, Iceland, Spain and USA in 2001. Units are measured in hours.
Overall, upper secondary teachers was the highest position of teaching hours in over the four countries and least amount of hours used by primary school teachers. Teachers from USA has used considerably huge amount of time for teaching among other countries over the given period.
Primary school teachers spent relatively same amount of time for teaching in Japan, Spain and Iceland such as, approximately, 600, 650 and 590 respectively. Whereas, USA spent more than 700 hours for primary students. Similarly, lower secondary teachers spent more than 600 hours for teaching in all the given countries, and instead USA makes up teaching hours with 1000 hours.
Regarding Spain and Iceland teachers use their time for teaching in upper secondary division with 900 hours in 2001. While, Japan and USA use their number of hours with 700 and near 1200 hours respectively. Moreover, Japan account for relatively lower amount of teaching hours in three division compared to other countries in 2001.
