The given pie charts illustrate, the percentage of energy coming from six various resources in a country in two different years such as 1985 and 2003. Measured percentage of resources are oil, natural gas, nuclear, coal, hydro and other renewable sources.
Overall, oil was the overwhelming majority of energy producers in both years with 52% and 39% respectively. Likewise, hydro power produce only 4 % energy in given years. Other renewable energy has a mild increase in production from 1985 to 2003 such as, 1% to 4%.
Regarding to the nuclear power was a significant decline in production from 22% to 8 % when it comes from 1985 to 2003. Meanwhile, coal energy production generated from 8 % to 22% with rapid increase when years gone. Natural gas production has rise up to 10% as compared to the year of 1985. in 1985 natural gas producing energy was mere 13%, while in 2003 which was 23% of total energy production.
