Calorie sources for UK males at different age group.
The bar chart depicts the information about the different calorific sources of UK men of varying age group, 0-24, 25-49 and 50+. The sources are Diary, meat, pulses and vegetables.
It us clear from the chart that, 0-24 age group has the main source of calorie is diary products with over 40% and other resources equal at around 20% except pulses with 18%. While, meat is the highest source of calorie in the 25-49 age group as 50% followed by diary at 25%, vegetable at 15% and pulses representing just 10%.
In addition to this, over 50 age group the largest contributor are pulses with 60% and the diary and neat is 10% and 20% respectively. Whereas, vegetables is just 10%.
Overall, pulses are the least favourable sources of calorie for the youngster, with vegetable also making up a minority contribution among every age group.
