The figure elucidates the number of calorie source for the UK males at different periods. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable ranges occurred for the amount of calorie source from pulses, and it is measured in the percentage of total intake from 0-24 years old males, 25-49 years old males and over 50 years old males.
To begin with, the amount of the intake from dairy for 0-24, which was at just above four-tenths, is higher rather than 25-49 and over 50, which made up at well beneath a third. Furthermore, according to pulse, there was a dramatic range for the number of calorie intake from pulses in which 25-49 has supplied the lowest intake of the calories in comparing to 0-24 and over 50, which approximately constituted at just below a fifth and well beyond 6 in 10 respectively.
In accordance with the other two aspects, the total calorie source of meat for 0-24 and over 50 is lower rather than 25-49, which constituted at a half. In contrast, vegetables experienced a different pattern in which all three aspects solely had well under a quarter.
