Changes to the town of Somerville over a 10-year period.

The maps illustrate the development of the Somerville in 10 years.
Overall, it is clear that 10 years ago, with only 2 car parks and a main road, this area was a vacant location, before transformed into the lively hub at the present. In the right map, one can see that there are hotels and commercial establishments occur near the river, which is opposed definitely to the viewpoint in the construction figured in map of 10 years ago.
Looking at the maps too closely, it is evidence that the car park 1 is altered by the restaurants and café area. Hotels now line the river, while shops and bookstores added along to the footpath. Also, the other substantial change was the rerouting of the road, which now the main road is parallel to the river then lead to the car park. Meanwhile, the golf course is built in the unused land area next to the car park 2 figured in the left map.
