The bar chart illustrate the proportion of men,women and children consuming five servings of vegetable and fruits each day in UK for 8 years of period in between 2001 to 2008.
Overall, it can be seen that the highest percent of all the people consuming foods and vegetable was women, whereas children accounted in the lowest position.Furthermore, their is the significant increasment among each individuals during the 8 years of time.
In the one hand, the percentage of wonen eating fruits and vegetable started just over 20% in 2001. The figure then rose steadily to reach a peak of almost 35% in 2006, before falling slightly to 30% in the end of the period.
In the other hand, the proportion of men and children consuming fruits and vegetable remains constant in the first three years of the given period. However, the percentage of men rose steadily from the year 2004 and reached above 25% in 2008. For instance, in term of children it also had an gradual increasement from 2004 and significantly reached above 20% in the final stage.
