The pie charts give information about the percentage of British students who can speak other languages in addition to english at an english university in 2000 and 2010.
Overall , after 10 ten years , the university saw a upward trend in the percentage of students speaking spanish and a downward trend of french, no other language and another language.
Looking at the year 2000, the data for spanish only was 35 percent which was the highest percentage while the lowest belonged to both german and two other languages with 10 percent.The percentage of no other language , other language and french were similar with 20 and 15 percent respectively.
after 10 ten years , the university witnessed a rise by 5 percent for both student knowing spanish and no other language, whereas a fell by the same percent for german only . The rest of the pie chart stayed at 10 percent over a 10-year period.
