Given is a bar chart providing information on the amount of money spent by four different countries on six sorts of customer products. Measures are shown in thousand pounds sterling.
A brief analysis of the figure reveals that while spending by British people was by far the highest amount on all categories, more money was spent on photographic films and toys than any other goods.
In Britain, the most significant amount of spending went on Photographic film (more than 170 million pounds); however, the UK residents were most interested in purchasing personal stereos and tennis racquets which accounted for the same amount of around 155 million pounds.
French people number one choice of buying was equal to British yet less money than spent on that (almost 160 million pounds). CDs and toys were ranked for the second shopping choice by them both at just under 160 million pounds while they placed last in perfumes and tennis racquets by around 145 million pounds.
In Italy, people spent more money on toys, which was the same as French citizens spending on this type. Besides, to other kinds of good unless photographic film their spending was approximately similar, around 140 million pounds.
Finally, Germans spent the least overall, having similar spending figures for all six products compared in the chart.
