Given is the line graph contrasting the prices of contract that people in an undefined European country was required to pay each month to use four distinct types of cell phones, namely Domo, Lex, Sim TV and Alpha in the first three quarters of the year 2002.
Perceptibly, the amount of money paid for monthly agreements using all mobiles leaped over the given periods, except for Sim TX. Furthermore, Alpha was by far the most prevalent phone used by the residents despite its lowest number at first.
Regarding the fluctuations on the spending for Domo and Alpha per month, the former started at the highest amount in January with 15 euros while the reverse was true for the latter when it cost only 5 euros, followed by a similar 5 euros surge in their monthly cost recorded in July. The last two months of the phase, however, brought a moderate diminution to 23 euros in the expenditure on Domo while that of Alpha swelled exponentially to its zenith of 25 euros and surpassed Domo to become the costliest contract in September.
When it comes to the cost to be paid monthly for Lexi, it ranked second with approximately 12 euros in the first month of the year and then diminished to sharply 10 euros a month later before achieving a further 13 –euro accretion in September. Regarding the payment for Sim TX’s contract per month, it accrued swiftly to 14 euros in June from only 9 euros in January. Thereafter, this seemed to be the least favored phone when hitting its lowest of 8 euros in September.
