The chart below shows a comparison of different kinds of energy production in France in 1995 and 2005.

The pie charts compare the percentage of various energy production in France and illustrate how it changed from 1995 to 2005. Overall, coal and gas were the significant sources of energy in both years. In all kinds of energy sources there was only minimal change over the 10 years period.
To begin with, energy production by coal was 29,8% of total types of sources in the first year and next year the ratio of coal slightly went up to 30,93%. Likewise, gas accounted for 29,63% in 1995 and climbed marginally to 30,31% in 10 years later.
As regards the ratio of petro, in 1995 nuclear and other kinds of energy sources started with 6,4% and 4.9% respectively. The next year the proportion of them increased twice as much as that in the former year. Petro followed a downward trend. 29,27% of energy production was petro in the first year. The figure declined susbtainably by 10% in 2005.
