The pie charts depict how the percentage of 5 different kinds of manufactured energy in France changed from 1995 to 2005, namely: Coal, Gas, Petro, Inuclear and Other. Overall, Gas, Coal and Petro were always the major parts of the industry. In addition, all energy production rates witnessed an increase over the period whilst that of Petro went through an opposite trend.
In 1995, the proportion of Coal, Gas and Petro produced accounted for almost 90% of manufacturing activity and had an extremely similar number to each other, with 29.8%,29.63% and 29.27% respectively. The remaining roughly 10% went to Inuclear and unspecified energy production.
10 years later, the trend was only retained for Coal and Gas with a slight increase of about 1% each. While the other energy and Inuclear rates also experienced a slight rise to 10.1% and 9.1% respectively, the figure for Petro had a downward trend when it decreased by almost a half to 19.55%.
