Throughout 2009 till 2013, the bar statistic shows the percentage of companies worldwide for the five most important best-selling smartphone brands: Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG, and ZTE. Generally, revenues for Samsung, Apple, and ZTE improved over through the remainder of the timeframe, whereas shipments for Nokia and LG plummeted.
Samsung purchased 250 million smartphones in 2009, whilst Nokia purchased upwards to 450 million handsets, more than any other for the year. In comparison, by 2013, Nokia's retail sales had dropped significantly to little more than 250 million components, while Samsung's revenues had more than quadrupled to increase over time of 450 million cellphone segments.
It has been shown that Apple and LG had inverse patterns in smart phone sales, regardless of the fact that both models available somewhere around 150 million units in each of these three years. Apple's sales increased marginally, but LG's sales declined progressively. Ultimately, notwithstanding a modest increase in sales throughout 2009 until 2013, Zte phones continued to remain the lowest ranked.
