The given bar chart depicts two types of educations i.e. full-time and part-time, studied by males and females in Britain during 1970/71, 1980/81 and 1990/91. The unit is measured in thousands.

Overall, the bar chart reports that in 1980/81, men and women took admissions for part-time education was almost same. Moreover, the admissions for full-time education of males increased consistently. Subsequently, for females also the enrollment rose. In full-time education, females were less enrolled in the year 1970/71. In part-time education (1990/91) females were highest, while males were lowest. Further, in full-time education (1970/71) males were enrolled more than females.

To begin with statistics, in 1980/81, the enrollment was approximately same (820) for both genders in part-time education. From 1970/71 to 1990/91 in full-time education (males) admission increased steadily from 150 to 220 thousands. Similarly, enrollment for females rose from 110 to 220 thousands. Among the three years, full-time education was less in 1970/71(females) about 110 thousands.

Furthermore, in comparison, for part-time education, females enrolled highest approximately 1100 (1990/91), while males enrolled around 850(1990/91). For full-time education, in 1970/71 males enrolled 150, whereas females enrolled 110 thousands.
