The chart below shows the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.
The graph includes information from Annual Outlook 2008 about consumption of energy, which have been generated from 6 different sources, in the us from 1980 to 2012 with projected consumption until 2030. The units are measured in Quadrillion.
Overall, it is clear that the most of american energy needs have been provided from fossil fuels and projection, which was estimated by this institute, shows that this trend will continue until 2030.
In 1980, 35q of Petrol and oil was consumed in the us while this figure for coal and natural gas stood at about 16q and 20q respectively. Despite some fluctuation in consumption of oil, this source has risen by nearly 7q and reach 42q in 2012.Acording to this graph, this rising trend will continue until 2030, with figure rising to about 50q. coal and natural gas went two different paths, but both of them reach a same point (about 25q) in 2012. while consumption of natural gas will remain at this level, a 7q increase was projected for coal consumption until last year of given period.
At the beginning of the period, about 4q of each other sources were consumed by americans. A gradual increase was seen in consumption of energy which was produced from nuclear source, with figure rising to nearly 8q in 2012. until 2025 consumption of this source will be remained constant before rising to 9q in last year. In spite of many changes in consumption of renewable source, by 2005, both of them had risen by 1q and reached the same level. After this time, two different trends were reported for them. while hydropower remains stable at this figure, sustainable source of energy rises gradually, and reaches 6q in 2012 and 7q in 2030.
