The bar chart below illustrates the data about the number of people accessing news via a variety of media in one particular country reported in 2013, 2015, and 2017. In general, the rate of people uses television accounted for the highest percentage in three periods.
It could be easily observed from the bar chart that people accessing news via television occupied the largest proportion in each year, from nearly 70 to approximately 80 percent. There was a significant increase in Internet users, with 31 percent, 40 percent, and 69 percent, respectively.
In comparison with the data of TV and Internet, those of newspapers and radio were completely different. People reading newspapers gradually decreased over the years, ranges from 21 percent to 41 percent. In contrast, the number of people listening to the radio is quite stable, with just over 30 percent in 2013, 2015, and 2017.
