The bar chart represents the proportion of the way population in a country in the question accessed news in 2013, 2015 and 2017.
As can be seen from the chart, except for internet, which has its approachers increased in number, other media, namely, television, newspaper and radio experienced different drops through out the period.
Started with the highest percentage of the population, television as a way to reach the news slightly fell for about 10% after two years. However, more people obtain news through tv as the chart shows a rise in television accessing at the end of the period with 70%. Begun with the lowest proportion, internet accessing number rose steadily through out the time. From 30% in 2013, it rose to 40% and then finally reached its peak in 2018 with nearly 80%.
Printed newspaper started with a higher ratio than radio, however, at the year end, the percentage of people read newspaper was lower than that of radio listeners. The reason is that while radio accessing proportion remained stably from 2015 to 2017 at 30%, newspaper readers which account for 30% in 2015 dropped for almost 10% and ended with 22% in 2017.
