Essay topics:

The chart below shows the percentage of people of different age groups who went to the cinema once a month or more in one European country from 2000 to 2011.

The line graph illustrates the moviegoers' rate from four different age groups who went to the movie theater once a month or above in a specific European country between 2000 and 2011.

Overall, it is clear that individuals from 15 to 24 always have a tendency to go to the cinema at least one time per month throughout the course of 11 years. At the same time, people in the age of 35 and over will not likely to go to the movie house that often.

In 2000, people who go out to the movies most often are those aged 15 to 24, which accounted for about 15%. This figure is then exponentially increased before reaching to 50% in 2007 though it had some fluctuations during the previous period. It reached its peak at almost 66% after plunging by roughly 13% in 2008. After that, it dropped slightly to 52% in the last year.

A similar trend was witnessed in the group aged 35 or above, which starts at the lowest point, at nearly 2%, but then it had a gradual rise of around 10% over the period shown and still lower than other groups. Individuals from 17 to 14 and 25 to 35 were seen to have some violent fluctuations. They started at approximately 10% and 5% respectively before reach to the same proportion in 2005 and 2009, which were at 13% and 32% in order. In the last period, their percentages are also equal to each other, at exactly 30%.
