The given bar chart demonstrates the data analised from questionaires about coffee and tea buying and drinking habits of residents in some cities of Australia.
Overall, it is clear that the number of people who went to a café for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks accounts for the largest percent in almost mentioned cities except for Adelaide. The figure for fresh coffee buyers, however, is always the lowest of all. Of course, the number of instant coffee consumers often ranks second.
In terms of the most popular cetagory, about 50-65% citizens in these areas went to a café to buy coffee or tea in last month. Melbourne population seem to love it much with almost 65% of people who did that. Those figures for Sydney and Hobart are also relatively high, at 61% and 63% respectively. Adelaide is the only city whose figure is slightly less than the number of instant coffee buyers.
On the other hand, fresh coffee was consumed least in all three types. The two lowest segments are of Brisbane and Adelaide at just under 35%. Other three cities have higher number, reaching around 40%. The remaining sector – proportion of people buying instant coffee is not very distinguished in these five Autralian cities. Hobart and Brisbane show the highest percentages, at approximately 55% and the figures for other cities are around 45% - 50%.
