The chart illustrate the information in percentage about people’s habit of buying and drinking coffee and tea in five main cities of Australia in last 4 weeks.
As shown in the bar, in all five cities people are more habitual of drinking coffee or tea at café rather than buying. Again, in buying habit also rate of buying instant coffee is higher than buying fresh coffee in all five cities.
In Sydney, People’s habit of visiting cafe for coffee or tea is around 61% which is higher then both buying instant and fresh coffee. Then this rate slightly increased by 2% in Melbourn. However, the figure experienced decreasing trend in Brisbane with approximately 56%. Again, by decreasing trend Adelaide rate of drinking coffee or tea is almost 49% , which is also the lowest rate among all 5 cities. Hobart rate rose to approximately 63%.
Buying instant coffee in five Australian cities has increasing trend. In Sydney, around 46% of people buy instant coffee, and it increase in Melbourne and Brisbane at around 48% and 53% respectively. However, the figure experienced a slightly decline in Adelaide by approximately 3%. Again, the percentage rose upto around 54% in Hobart.
The lowest % of habit among three is buying fresh coffee in all five cities. It is continuously in decreasing trend in Sydney, Melbourn, Brisbane with around 44%,43% and 39% respectively. Adelaide remain steady with Brisbane and Hobart rate rose upto around 39%.
