The provided charts reveal the poll results of citizens who attended several different sightseeing in Britain along with visited places in the theme parks at the end of the 20th century.
Overall, it is noticeable that theme parks and cultural establishments were the most widespread choice between people in British, as 38% and 37% respectively frequented the abovementioned locations. Worth to mention the parks that most individuals visited, which are Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
At the end of the 20th century, the most popular option among touristic attractions were Theme Parks and Museums with Galleries, taking the major chunks of the whole graph. Furthermore, historical monuments and buildings were the next the most visited since approximately 16% of people in 1999 attended such places. Meanwhile, the least activity and place to attend were wildlife parks and zoos because only 9% of people were estimated to visit.
With regards to the most lucrative sightseeing such as theme parks, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Alton Towers, and Pleasureland consisted in the top three most visited theme parks 47%,17%,16% respectively. Whereas Chessington World of Adventures along with Legoland separated the last 20% of people having an interest in those parks.
