Thereafter, the figure showed a decrease by each year and ended at the initial rate of 71 billion. In contrast, mobile calls was the least in starting year at 1billion minutes, and rose considerably in the consecutive years and it reached at 45 billion in 2002.
Similarly, national and international fixed line also exhibited an upward trend throughout the time period. 48 billion in 1995 exhibited a steady rise and reached to the maximum of 60 billion in the end year.
