he bar chart compares the different kinds of call by telephone over the past 8 years in the UK.
It is clear that the minutes of calls and the national and international call increase from 1995 to 2002. However, the categories of local call first rise then descend.
From 1995 to 2002, the minutes of local-fixed line is the highest in these three categories that the highest minutes is 90billions minutes in 1999. the second highest minutes is national and international-fixed line which highest minutes is 61 billions in 2002. while the national and international-fixed line increase every year, the local-fixed line always the main type of telephone calls in the UK.
In addition, we can see the trend of three telephone calls that the mobiles(all calls) and the national and international-fixed line increase from 1995 to 2002 that the mobiles is about 3 billions minutes to 45 billions minutes, the national and international-fixed line from 38 millions minutes to 61 millions minutes. However, the local-fixed line in symmetric distribution over the past 8 years that begin from 72 billions minutes in 1995 and the highest in 1999 that the duration is 90 billions minutes which the lowest minutes in 2002 that as the same as the 1995.
