The bar chart gives information about how much time the UK residents make a phone call that including local fix line, national and international- fixed line and mobiles in the periods of 7 years from 1995 to 2002.
As can be seen from the chart, both of the national- international and mobiles were upward in the whole period. The type of local line was higher than two others.
In 1995, the minutes of local line was over 70 billions, nearly doubling that of national and international, at over 35 billions minutes while the mobile phones were trust over 3 billions. The local lines have increased slightly until 1999, reaching at peak 90 billions minutes. In contrast, there were witnessed a sharp decrease from 2000 in 85 billions to 2002 in 73 billions.
On the other hand, national and international calls have growth rapidly from over 35 billions in 1995 to 62 billions in 2002.
The figure of mobiles started at only 2 billions and it was slight until 1998 at nearly 10 billions minutes. However, the trends also have growth significantly during the period between 1999 and 2002 at 45 billion minutes.
