The chart below shows the water levels of 6 cities in Australia in October 2009 and 2010.

The line graph illustrates how the proportion of people who are participating in the four types of sport in a certain region over 20 years, starting from 1985 to 2005.
Overall, rugby was considered the most favorite sport that had many people took part in the first period while badminton was placed in the last position in 1985. Besides, tennis tended to increase slightly to become the most favorite sport then, whereas rugby decreased significantly. The two remaining other sports remained stable and had no considerable change.
In 1985, the number of people taking part in rugby stood at just under 250 and surpassed the figure for tennis players by around 150. In addition, basketball and badminton have witnessed a low participation rate, with around 80 and 50 respectively.
In the next year, the number of people playing rugby decreased, hitting a low of 50 the same as badminton in the same year. In contrast, the upward trend was tennis with its participation rates increasing to around 225 at the end of the period and becoming the first rank. Finally, the figure for badminton and basketball saw no substantial changes after 20 years, at around 50 and 80 respectively.
