The bar chart describes the percentage of the age of residents in Iceland (try to find synonyms) from 1990 to 2020.
Generally, the proportion of population aged from 25 to 54 years old was highest, and experienced a significant rise during the period. While others were likely to drop down or level up.
It is noticeable that the 25-54-year-old citizens were always the highest figure in the chart throughout the year by increasing from slightly over 30% to approximately 50% after four years. The second position was the group of 0-14 years old which stood at almost 30%, but then witnessed a … fall to more than 10% in 2020. Stating in the third place was the age of 15-24 whose rates decreased of more than 10% over the research time.
The others experienced a distinct trend. The fourth rank was for 55-64-year-old group with about 15% in the beginning of the period. After that, the rate started to fall into 10% in 2020. The proportion of 65 and over years old entered the last place which the rate of above 10% in 1990, then it increased slightly and reached its peak at around 15% before declining a bit in 2020.
