Essay topics:

The chart shows British emigration to selected destinations between 2004 and 2007.

The presented chart provides data on the movement of british citizens to 5 destinations commencing from 2004 to 2007. Overall, the largest amount of British people moved to Australia, leaving this country the most popular for emigration throughout the period. On the contrast, New Zealand along with USA were less emigrated destinations.

Turning to the details, just over 40 thousands of british citizens went to reside in Australia in 2004. Nearly the same number accounted in 2007, in the meantime, there was an upsurge to more that 50 thousands in 2006. Australia was the only country with growth of british emigrants, while in other four countries there was a decrease by the end of the period.

As for Spain there was a gradual decline of emigrants with an insignificant grow in 2005. A marginal change occurred in New Zealand, where emigration fell from about 24 thousands to 20. In contrast, numbers in USA and France were changing dramatically. The emigration statistics went down twice, accounting a decline in around 5 thousand in 2005 and 2007 with the same increase in 2006. The number of british emigration upsurged from 22 to 34 in 2006 in USA, then it fell to 26, still acounting more than in 2004. Eventually, it ended up at below 20 in 2007.
