The chart shows the change in forested land in different regions of the world over time.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart depicts the changes in forested areas in major regions of the world during the 15-year period (1995-2010). Overall, three main trends were seen in this chart: the decline trends occurring in Central and North Africa, Central and South America, and South Asia; the rise in Central and East Asia and the Caribbean; and the maintenance in North America and Europe.
Among the first group of decreasing forested areas, Central America witnessed the most drastic changes since it reached the lowest rate of the whole period from 1995 to 2000 (roughly minus 1.5%) before fluctuating 10 years later. Meanwhile, the rate of forested area in North Africa was recorded at almost minus 0.6% at the first stage of the period, before climbing to approximately minus 0% afterward.
East Asia saw the greatest increasing forested cover, rising from 0.7% to 1.25% from 1995 to 2005. Moving to Central Asia, the rising trend also occurred, although the proportion was not as much, from about 0.1% to 0.4% during the period. North America remained its percentage of forested land with very small percentages, while the percentage in Europe appeared to be a little higher in comparison to it (around 0.2%).
