The paragraph compares the time required to complete a particular task according to sex in Great Britain.

Overall, it can be inferred that in cooking cleaning and looking after the children categories women spend the majority of the time compared to males .while men spend the highest time in gardening and the least the laundry.

To begin with, at the first glance it can be observed that, more than one hour per day time women spend in the kitchen for cooking baking and washing up. Whereas, only half an hour is shared by made in the kitchen. In the same way, for nearly 10 minutes per day men clean their house but women are doing that task for approximately 60 minutes.

Furthermore, in maintenance or jobs, gardening and pet care are mostly done by men which are accounted for 26 and 49.5 minutes per day. To add further, for less than five minutes per day males work on laundry task but females do it for 25 minutes. Lastly, males and females look after their children for 20 and 45 minutes per day respectively.
