The chart shows the global sales of the top five mobile phone brands between 2009 and 2013

The given bar chart illustrates how many units sold of the worldwide sales of five top differents mobile phone carriers over the period of 4 years.
What stands out from the bart chart is that while the units sold of Samsung, Apple and ZTE had the upward trends, two remaining brands declined. In addition, the sales of Nokia was the highest in 2009 and 2011 but Samsung was more popular in 2013.
In 2009, started with around 440 million, Nokia was the biggest before it witnessing a significant tumble over 4 years to roughly 250 millions. In contrast, Samsung which was a brand ranked second in the first years with about 240 million after the units sold overcoming Nokia to become highest in 2013, at roughly 450 million. There was a considerable bounce in Apple between 2009 and 2013 with around 20 million and 150 million respectively.
Besides, it was LG that had the units sold ranked 3rd in 2009, at about 120 million and then, the figure experienced a substantial plunge to roughly 170 million in 2013. ZTE which was a brand insignificant changes during the given period with 40 million in 2009 and improved to approximately 50 million at the end of the period
