The bar chart illustrates the rate at which fast food was consumed in USA by people shown in percentages over a decade from 2003 to 2013. In this period majority of Americans ate at fast food restaurant either once a week or once a month. Even though there were 30%-33% people in 2003 to 2006 whose intake of fast food was several times a week it dropped down by 4% in 2013, while 10%-15% had few times a year.
The chart depicts around 30% - 33% Americans preferred eating from fast food restaurants weekly once, which apparently dropped to 27% by 2013. It can be observed that 30% people who ate fast food once a month in 2003 had plummeted by 5% in 2006 which steeply increased to 33% in 2013.
However, it is opposite in the case of individuals who ate many times a week, it was 17% in 2003 which just increased by 3% in 2006, however it dipped back to just over 15% in 2013. While only 10%-15% ate fast food few times a year which didn't change during this 10 year period, people eating daily and not even once accounted for less than 5%.
To sum it up, the frequency at which people in USA ate from fast food restaurants varied throughout the decade. There was increase in the percentage of people who ate once or twice a month in 2013 and there was no change in the numbers of people who ate every day or who never ate at a fast food restaurant.
