The chart shows how frequently people in the USA ate fast food in restaurants between 2003 and 2013

The following bar chart compares about frequency of eating fast food at restaurant by people of USA between 2003 and 2013. People are divided into six distinct groups based on their eating frequency.

It is apparent that a much larger portion of people went to restaurant once a week or once or twice a month whereas the lowest number people went daily to the restaurant. Eating junk food at restaurant once a week or once or twice a month peaked in 2003 and 2013.

According to the graph, most of the people visited restaurant once a week which is just over 30% in 2003 and 2006 where the percentage is slightly below in 2013. In 2003, 30% people went to restaurant once or twice a month and then a dramatic fall by 5% observed in 2006. On the contrary, around 33% people once or twice a month visited to the restaurant in 2013.

On the other hand, the least number of people entered restaurant daily to consume junk food which is below 5% during 2003 to 2013. In 2003, 5% people never went to restaurant and the number reduced by almost 2% in 2006 & 2013. By contrast, the figure for people went restaurant several times a week ranging from 15-20% in ten years period while around 15% people visited restaurant a few times in a year.
