The presented vertical bar chart illustrates the information on the proportion of cell phones or landlines used per 100 people in seven different countries.
It is conspicuous that there are four out of seven countries where mobile phones are more popular than landlines. But among these, Itay has the most mobile phone users as well as the least working landlines.
Countries like Germany, UK, Sweden, and Italy have a more advanced way of communication as people here preferred mobile phones more than landlines. More specifically, Italy has the highest proportion of mobile phone users at around 90 per 100 people, followed by, Sweden and UK at close to 87 and 85 respectively. The countries like Germany and Denmark consists a decent proportion of mobile phone users at around 70 and 82 percent, respectively. While, mobile phones in Canada are least preferred, as it accounts to only 37 percent of people using it.
In contrast to this, the most proportion of the people in Canada, the US, and Denmark still use landlines as their mode of communication. Denmark has the highest percentage of people using the landlines, at around 87 per 100 people. The proportion of users of landlines in the US and Sweden are almost equal, about 67 percent, followed by, Canada at 62 per 100 people. Whereas, Italy's population least preferred it, used by only 42 out of 100 people.
