The given bar chart illustrates the distribution of mobile phones and landlines among a group of hundred people in seven different countries(Canada, US, Germany, Denmark, UK, Sweden, Italy) . According to the given graph legend, mobile phones are represented by blue and land lines are depicted by red color.

Overall, it can be deciphered from the given graph that Denmark is the only country whose people make use of mobile phones and land lines the most as opposed to Canada where both electronic devices are least preferred.

Going forward, in countries like Canada, US and Denmark residents like to make use of land lines as their primary device as compared to mobile phones. There is almost a 20% increased preference in Canada and the US which is then followed by Denmark where the gap narrows down to almost around 5%.

Interestingly, the other four countries namely Germany, UK, Sweden and Italy exhibit an opposite trend where the civilians like to keep their mobile phones handy as their primary point of contact. Italy has the maximum gap of around 50% in terms of mobile phone preference while the least in Germany drilling down to around 10%.
