The bar chart displays the proportion of males and females in an Asian country passing their driving test from 1980 to 2010.
In general, the statistics for both genders saw an upward trend, with the percentage of women passing their driving test higher than that of men throughout the examined period.
The number of women passing their driving test was nearly 50% in 1980. It experienced a slight increase to surpass 50% in 1990 before witnessing a surge to an all-time high of 68% in 2000. In the next decade, this figure saw a slight decline to approximately 65%.
It can also be seen from the chart that almost 30% of men passed the driving test at the beginning of the period. This rate increased noticeably in the next two decade to reach 38% in 1990 and hit its peak of 49% in 2010 before levelling off in the last ten years of the period.
