The bar chart delineates the proportion of females and men counterparts in a specified Asian nation who overcame the driving examination in 4 periods of a decade from 1980 to 2010
The initial impression from the graph is that women were predominant in the number of people who passed the test rather than men. It is also worth highlighting that there were more contestants who passed this test in 2000 than in the remaining years which shows an upward trend in quantity.
In terms of sexuality, it is evident that the figure for female candidates was higher than that of men; clearly, in 1980 the number of men who passed the test was around 28% which is lower than 20% compared to women (48%). A similar picture is true in 63% when the proportion of women which constitute 52% higher than that of men which is just 49%, approximately.
Over the following 130 years, there was an increase in the passing candidates. The figure for man contestants had a slight climb of 11% between 1980 and 2000; a decade later, this proportion was unchanged and leveled off at 49%, respectively. Related to the data of women counterparts, the figure for this gender witnessed a significant increase from 48% in 1980 to 78% in 2000; however, in 2010 it was followed by a marginal dip and stayed at 65%.
