With respect to the percentage of women, 15% of women passed the exam in 1980. This statistic increased slightly to 52% in the next ten years. There was a significant growth in this figure to about 68% in 2000. It was recorded that approximately 84% of women passed their driving exam at the end of the given period.
Concerning the figure of men, the statistics of them were lower than the one of women in 1980 which constituted nearly 28%. In 1990, the rate of men who passed the test experienced a steady climb to around 37%. It increased remarkbly to about 49% in 2000 and remained intact until the end of the given period
