Overall speaking, the population of children in Yemen and Italy both record a decrease from 2000 to 2050, while the number of the old showed an upward trend on the contrary. In 2050 people aged 15 to 59 are predicted to occupy the main proportion of the population in Yemen and Italy.

The proportion of children in Yemen was the largest, taking up for nearly half of the population, though it is predicted to decline to 37% in 2050.
