The first paragraph illustrates the proportion of three electricity appliances in a country from 1920 to 2019 while the second line chart shows the hours that people spend on household in nearly a century.
Overall, it is notable that in the first diagram, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner are increased significantly and washing machine rised fluctuated by the time. Mean while the number of housework per week was true opposite for the time quantity.
Upon a closer look at appliance ownership, in the first twenty years, all three line had a upward trend, the percentage of washing machine was the highest, about 60% and wacuum cleaner was the highest line with approximate 50% at this time. In the next four and onward, almost all families installed refrigerators and vacuum cleaners, varied from 90% to 100%. Meanwhile, in 1980, the percentage of the household utilising laundry machine experienced a slight decline by 5%, but then increased to approximately 75% at the end of surveyed phase
Turning to the figures for hours spent on housework weekly, a plunge from 50 to 15 was seen over the first 60 years, and it then marginally declined to 10 hours by 2019.
