The pie charts compare the proportion of water utilized for different purposes in six parts of the world.
According to the charts, water is used mostly for agricultural purposes in central asia, south east asia and africa while north america and europe regions utilize water mainly in industry.
It can be seen from the charts that the percentage of water used in industry makes up nearly 50% in north america which is almost the same to this proportion in europe while this rate in south america is five times lower. Moreover, water is used mainly for agricultural purposes in africa, central asia and south east asia with 84%, 88% and 81% correspondingly. Additionally, the ratio of water used in agriculture is the least in europe, with just 32%.
It is obvious that the percentages of water utilized for domestic use are lowest. To be more specific, the rates of water for domestic purposes in central asia and south east asia are equal, with 7% for each region while this proportion in south america is 19%, which is highest.
