The pie charts depict the ratio of students who were capable of speaking languages other than English categorised into No other language, French only, Spanish only, Another language and Two other languages in 2000 and 2010.
The percentage of No other language in 2000 is 20 percent and it decreased by half implying teaching other languages is applied upon high schools very well for a decade in 2010.
Turning to the students called bilingual including French, German, Spanish and Another language, even though the percentage of French only decreased by 5 percent. German only stayed the same and the other 2 categories, Spanish only and Another language, slightly raised to 35 and 20 percent, respectively. The total percentage of the bilingual went up by 5 percent at 75% for 10 years.
Last but not least, students who were able to speak 2 languages known as trilingual contributed 10 percent of the total in 2000 and increased to 15 percent in 2010.
All in all, nine out of ten students were able to speak at least a foreign language and whole trend that students can speak other languages in creased generally except French only.
