The given charts demonstrate a variety of causes for travelling and the main purposes for the travelling public in the United States of America in 2009.

Overall, one notable trend seems to be that US residents travel from their house living to work spots. Moreover, they depend basically on the public transportation because the price of travel is convenient for majority.

In Figure 1 it can be seen that the main reason for travel in The USA is the labor purpose with 49 percent. However, the lowest purpose for traveling is related to friends and relatives visiting with 6 percent. Finally, the total percentage of personal reasons, social and meeting friends is equal to the labor purpose.

In Figure 2 it can explained that residents in The USA usually seek to travel by public transportations like cabs and buses because of the major reason that price of travel is convenient with the majority and it reached 36% in 2009 .But, the lowest issues for the traveling public are the access to public transport and space for pedestrians which were 14%both of them .
