The chart illustrates what both British graduates and postgraduates did after their graduation in the year of 2008.

Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that there was a difference between the number of graduates and postgraduates choosing part-time works. Besides, the number of people following further study register the highest figures in both types of students.

Generally, it could be said that the figure of graduate numbers was as high as 10 times that of postgraduates. Clearly, while graduate numbers doing part-time work stood at roughly 18000 people, this figure was so much lower in the number of postgraduate doing this kind of job which was just about 2500 people. Similarly, there was 3500 graduate students participating voluntary work, whereas it was 345 of postgraduate students who did the same.

Furthermore, it can be seen that either the graduated or the postgraduate cherished to pursue their academic career. Nevertheless, there was a huge gap between the number of graduated students and postgraduate students studying more, which was about 27000 people. A similar data was witnessed in graduate and postgraduate numbers who were unemployed, which were 16235 and 1625, respectively.
