The two given bar chart illustrates the information about the proportion of graduates and postgraduates in UK students who spent all the time to go to work after finishing their degree in 2008.
In general, the most popular destination for both groups is that they also choose to pursue further education whereas the volunteering was the least popular destination among the four mentioned ones.
Starting with 29,655 the ratio of maximum graduates did not go into full-time work opted for higher study while some of 17,735 select to go for part-time work. A slightly lower than this rate was 16,235 were unemployed while a small proportion showed interest in voluntary work, roughly 3500 in totals.
Turning to postgraduates, taking higher education was the most favorite destination with 2,725 students, followed by part-time work with 2,535 post-grads. Only 345 students did voluntary work. The difference in number between those who took part in part-time jobs and those who were not employed was minimal.
