The pie charts gives information about the United Kingdom school expenditure in 2 decades between 1981 and 2001.
Overall, it can be seen from the charts that most of the money was spent on teacher salaries over the period given whereas, insurance was the least. Other workers have showed a decrease in the number of percentage. The other two pursuits (furniture and equipment and resources e.g books) have experienced a fluctuation.
In 1981, the school have spent a large proportion of money (40%) on the teacher salaries but in the next following decade (1991) the figure accelerated to 50% while, in 2001 it dropped to 45%. The percentage of other worker salaries was 28% in 1981, then in 1991 the percentage fall to 22%. At the end of the period it was almost half of the 1981 which was 15%.
Insurance was almost remained under 10% in all three decades. Same amount (15%) was consumed on both furniture and equipment and resources like books in the first decade. In the next ten years the saving paid on furniture and equipment were 5% and resources e.g book were 20%. In the last decade the amount of paid on furniture and equipment was 23% and resources e.g book were under 10%.
