Two bar graphs elucidate the information about the percentage of Australian men and women and different age group watched either the reality shows or the game shows.

Most age groups watched more reality shows than the game shows; as a result, the reality shows are more popular. 70% of female favours in the reality shows, which is almost twice as many as men. More than 70% of Australian people (regardless with the gender) with over 45 years of age, watched the reality shows and people aged 35 to 44 followed closely (just below 70%). As age goes down, the proportion of watch the reality show decreased; age group of 25 to 34 of 60% and age group of 16 to 24 of just above 50%.

Larger portion of male preferred to watch game shows than the reality shows whilst female watched slightly fewer game shows, but both proportioned at 60%. The game shows are popular especially the age group of over 45 years (70%) whereas other age group showed lower than 50% - 50%, 40% and 30% for 16-24, 35-44, 25-34 age group, respectively.

It is apparent that, women tend to watch more television than men. Despite the types of TV programmes, over 45 age group watched the most.
