The given charts illustrate the domain kind of transportation which people used to commute to a specific university in two different years, 2004 and 2009. An overall view indicates that bus and private cars are the two first choice as transportation vehicles.

In 2004, around half of the people who engaged in the survey, used public bus to commute which consist 46 per cent. The second popular transportation method is private cars. As can be seen, approximately 30 per cent of people used their own cars. Bicycle is the third common method by 16 per cent. Commuting by train and walking just composed less than 10 per cent.

On the other hand, in 2009, half of the people used their own cars to go to university which has increased from 46 per cent in 2004 to 51 per cent in 2009. However, the percentage of people who used bus has reduced by 13 per cent and reached to 33 per cent. It is noteworthy to say that bicycle became less popular as a transit method in 2009. In fact, the number of people who chose bicycle declined to 9 per cent. While, the number of people who commute to university by train or via walking has remained almost unchanged, although showing a slight reduction.
